Cool Sunglasses Dude
Atlassian was looking for a way to engage attendees at Atlassian Summit. The goal was to create an immersive, interactive experience on-site where attendees could answer polls and see results holistically. Gen City Labs worked with Atlassian to create an experience that featured a dazzling, interactive data visualization station where there was a wall of ten (seemingly blank) polarized screens of all sizes. Attendees were asked to answer questions on the tablets provided and then were handed polarized sunglasses. When the attendees put on those glasses, they were able to instantly see results from the questions in real time — what was a blank screen before was now a captivating learning experience. The real-time visualizations displayed dynamic graphs and statistics to foster an understanding of how to build and maintain strong teams.
The activation created an opportunity for Atlassian to gather insights from attendees and create a learning experience that was both insightful and memorable. And because the results were being displayed in real-time, attendees could interact during different times of the day to see how results from their peers may have shifted. The activation was a big hit with attendees and at the end of the event, it was discovered that the top-voted quality that guests across all sectors value in their teams was trust.
